Senior Workday Analyst

Location: Cardiff, London, Manchester or Southampton

Hybrid working: All Starling colleagues spend a minimum of 10 days per month in the office with flexibility to work the rest from home.

This is a brand new role that will support the business with the implementation, embedding and ongoing road map of activities for Workday - in the main, HCM, Payroll, Absence, Performance, Benefits, Advanced Compensation and integrations.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Leads the configuration, optimisation, and maintenance of the Workday tenant across various modules (HCM, Recruiting, Talent). Drives strategic, long-term improvements in user experience and data quality.
• Acts as a subject matter expert, taking ownership of projects, advising on industry standards, and influencing business decisions through configuration. Proactively challenge existing configurations.
• Expert-level configuration across modules like HCM, Time Off, Absence, and Compensation.
• Leading projects from conception to deployment.
• Partnering with stakeholders to define and execute business strategies.
• Deep understanding of Workday methodologies and reporting.
• Assist in the review, testing, implementation, training, and communication of Workday system changes and upgrades including the bi-annual Workday releases
• Ability to interpret business problems into system solutions, ensuring system functionality is reflective of business and people policies
• Comfortable and confident in working with large volumes of personal and sensitive data
• Help identify process effectiveness and efficiency opportunities

• Minimum of 3 years experience of Workday 
• Workday configuration experience
