About You
We are looking for a Family Practitioner (Grade 8) OR a Social Worker (Grade 9) with experience in either or both Children’s and Adult’s Social Care. Building Bridges uses the following models - NVR (Non-Violent Resistance), PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy) and DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy) and therefore experience in these ways of working would be advantageous although not essential.

The city’s families and young people therefore need a skilled and dedicated workforce within the Building Bridges Service; practitioners who are quick in finding solutions to complex difficulties, as well as those who are calm, containing and positive. What We Can Offer You
Salary: The salary band for the
Unqualified Social Worker/ Family Practitioner is £36,124 - £39,513. The
starting salary is £36,124 with annual progression through the salary bands.
Salary: The salary band for the
Qualified Social Worker is £40,476 - £44,710 The
starting salary is £40,476 with annual progression through the salary bands.
