The General Dental Council (GDC) is the UK-wide statutory regulator of the dental profession. We protect patients by ensuring all dentists and dental care professionals are qualified, competent, and registered with us. We are currently seeking Specialist List Assessors to join our team on a part-time basis. We are currently seeking Specialist List Assessors, particularly within Paediatric and Endodontics to join our team on a part-time basis.
As a Specialist List Assessor, you will meet regularly with a panel of other assessors to review applications for entry to the Specialist Lists from UK and overseas qualified dentists without a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST). This role requires you to have a good working knowledge of the relevant policy and legal framework of the registration and assessment process, as well as following guidelines for assessment of applications. To be considered for the position, you should possess a specialist dental qualification awarded in the UK or overseas. Proven experience working in a clinical setting is essential as is familiarity with the relevant policy and legal framework of the registration and assessment process.
