AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) working in cooperation with our client Ryanair are inviting applications for a Station Manager to be based at Edinburgh Airport, working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline. Duties & Responsibilities
As part of the UK Management Team, the successful candidate will support in the leadership and management of Ryanair’s UK Engineering Line Stations and a team of technical staff.
Duties Will Include, But Not Be Limited To
- Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents & AOG’s
- Manpower planning, recruitment and staff performance management
- Ensuring appropriate spares, tooling and facilities are available at each location
- Conducting regular visits to Line Stations across the UK, ensuring staff welfare and regulatory compliance
- Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports and Non-Compliances & implementing strategies to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
What We Offer:
- Proven experience in a management role (e.g., Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager or similar).
- Strong team management skills, with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Flexible, hands-on approach to leadership.
- Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of Aviation Processes is an advantage but not essential
