We are looking for an experienced and motivated Tax & Treasury Assistant to join our Finance team!

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Finance function, predominantly the Tax and Treasury teams. Key tasks will include:
- Providing support for annual tax claims and filings, and working with the Direct tax team to maintain the submission timetable
- Preparation of periodic indirect tax returns both in the UK and abroad
- Production and validation of data to support the monthly US Sales Tax returns as well as the EU EC Sales List, One Stop Shop, and Intrastat filings
- Support for transfer pricing calculations for intercompany invoicing
- Creation and monitoring of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and submission of approved supplier invoices for payment
- Responsibility for monitoring incoming post (physical and Tax Inbox)
- Reconciliation and posting of corrections to ledgers
- Bank reconciliations, regular reporting, and assistance with projects, payment processing, and other Treasury support, as required
- Assistance with tax/finance projects as required
- Monitoring tax compliance for smaller overseas entities; keeping track of payment and filing deadlines
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations of all the ONT group's indirect tax provisions
- Requesting tax payments/settlements via the Monday Board
- Verifying and adding sales tax exemption certificates
- Other administrative duties as required by the role, including wider Finance team and Finance Technology support
- Applying for Certificates of Residency and Certificates of Compliance with HMRC
- Maintaining and monitoring tax record keeping
- Support for year-end administrative tasks
Requirements
