We are seeking a full-time Training Manager (Trainer) to join our award-winning team at Bluebird Care Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea. Based in central London (Ashmill Street, NW1), you'll play a crucial role in empowering our care staff with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to deliver gold-standard care in our community.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver effective training programmes, including staff inductions and refresher courses
- Use various learning methods (classroom, eLearning, on-the-job) to meet diverse staff needs
- Promote inclusive, values-driven, and safe care practice in all training sessions
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure ongoing compliance and learning support
- Evaluate and report on training effectiveness, making continuous improvements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for training compliance and staff development
- Support the development and performance of care staff through coaching and feedback
Experience
- Passionate about learning and development
- Experienced in the adult social care sector
- Confident delivering training to a range of learners
- A strong communicator and empathetic leader
- Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive
Requirements
Essential:
- Teaching or training qualification (e.g. train the trainer)
- Experience in adult social care
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and person-centred care
- Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development
Desirable:
- Experience delivering training in a care setting
- Qualifications in social care, education, or coaching
- Experience working within a training budget
- Salary: £38,000–£40,000 (include the travel in London)depending on experience
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional flexibility required based on training needs
Development: Fully funded training up to NVQ Level 5
