The Opportunity
We are recruiting a number of tutors to work across one or more of a range of courses within the Design and Digital Media master’s programme. The courses we require support for are Elements of Digital Design, Design for Interactive Media, Media and Culture, Fundamentals of User Experience Design, 3D Digital Design, Game Design Studio, Digital Playgrounds for the Online Public and Global Design Culture.
Assistance is needed in delivering tutorial activities, providing practical guidance and advice to students, and assessing student work. Applicants should have advanced knowledge of working practices in one or more of the following areas: graphic design, digital media for screen and print publishing, UX design, interaction design, UI design, 3D modelling, texturing, rendering and basic animation, game design. The applicants should also have an understanding of the intellectual and research context in which digital design takes place.

- Ability to work confidently and effectively with a diverse student cohort.
- Demonstrable critical, informed, and scholarly capacity to engage with a range of teaching media, including online learning and teaching.
- Ability to work within teams with a collegial attitude, respect and sensitivity toward students and other staff members.
