As a Graduate Railway Traction Power Engineer, you'll apply your engineering skills and gain hands-on experience with advanced modelling tools to analyse both AC and DC traction power systems. You’ll support the delivery of cutting-edge engineering solutions, develop key studies, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams using industry-leading software tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop end-to-end traction power system studies, including modelling and analysis (AC and DC)
• Carry out detailed engineering analyses and contribute to critical technical studies
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
• Support and learn from experienced engineers within a high-performing team

Preferred Attributes:

• Degree-qualified in Electrical or Power Engineering
• Working towards, or has aspirations to achieve, professional registration (e.g. Chartered Engineer or equivalent)
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as ETAP, PSCAD, DigSILENT, PowerFactory, OpenPowerNet or MATLAB/Simulink
• Good knowledge of electrical/traction power systems and relevant industry standards
• Interest or experience in undertaking studies including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, transient stability, and EMC
