The Opportunity:
As part of the Ashurst Operations department, the Global Workplace team is responsible for all property related matters from acquisition, disposal, fit out and relocation of the firm's corporate real estate.
The Workplace Change Management team ensures there is a strong connection between programmes and end user functions so expectations, commitments and benefits can be managed, leading to the successful adoption of business change.
Key responsibilities of the Workplace Change Manager role include:
- Delivery of change programmes for assigned projects across the Workplace Roadmap.
- Preparing people for the change, to minimise its impact on individuals and the business, and to enable the firm to realise expected benefits.
- Owning and developing change management deliverables such as: stakeholder mapping and engagement plan, change impact assessments, managing change agent network, readiness activities, benefits identification, assistance with communications planning and execution, and post go live activities to help reinforce new ways of working.
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders to raise their awareness and understanding of the change, manage expectations about what the change will and won't deliver, and to win their support and active participation where required in the delivery of change activities.
This is a full time, 12 month fixed-term contract role based out of our London office with hybrid working.

About you:
The successful candidate will have:
- An understanding of working in business change within a legal or professional services environment. Workplace change experience would be desirable.
- Proven skills and knowledge of change management disciplines, approaches, tools and methodologies.
- Experience in supporting and working with support staff such as Business Analysts, Project Managers, Operations Managers, Communications and training teams.
- The ability to influence outcomes at a mid-senior level within the organisation.
- Strong relationship building skills that enable rapid building of trust.
