The Vacancy
We are looking to recruit a
Yard Person to join the team at our office in
Glasgow. This role is permanent part time 3 days per week (9am - 4pm). We are flexible on the days worked Monday-Friday.
A full UK driving licence is required.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out general office maintenance and DIY. Make sure stores and yard area for 3 premises are kept clean and tidy
- Maintain good communication with colleagues and clients, keep up to date with emails and respond promptly
- To be aware of their responsibilities for Health and Safety of themselves and others
- Keyholder – point of contact in the event of alarm activation or office security issue
Person Specification:
- Full UK driving license is required
- Forklift license is preferred although training will be provided
- Good knowledge and practical skills for general maintenance and DIY
- Take pride in a job well done, committed to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Willing to undertake any training relevant to the role
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Skills or qualifications in a suitable trade (e.g. plumbing, electrical) would be advantageous but not essential
Salary and Benefits:
- £15,015, based on 21 hours per week over 3 days (£28,600 FTE)
