JSS Financial Services are recruiting for a reputable financial services organisation where they are looking for a Year-end Accountant to join their team, and support the Financial Controller during a busy reporting period for 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory returns.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Be a key point of contact for auditors.
- Drive process improvements and improving reporting efficiencies.
- Support the finance team with external and any ad-hoc projects.
Personal Profile
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CAANZ, CPA, ICAS or qualified by experience.
- Newly qualified candidates will be considered.
- Experienced in financial reporting and supporting during year-end.
- Prior experience in financial services businesses (banks, lenders, building societies, trading, asset management desired)
- Expertise in statutory reporting - UK GAAP/ IFRS.
- Excellent stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders.
