Job Description

Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Salary: Scale Point 3 pro-rata: Currently FTE £28,521

Hours of work: 12 hours x 40 weeks per annum (Thursday & Fridays 9-3.30pm)

Contract Term: Fixed Term

Closing Date: Monday 27th January 2025 at 9am.

Interviews: Thursday 30th January 2025

Start date : 3rd February 2025 (As soon as possible)

We are seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCO to support the learning of a pupil with Speech, Language and Communication Needs Support plans are in place to guide learning and behaviour within a whole class setting as well as when working 1:1. Experience in working with children with special educational needs is essential.
