Position Overview

As a commercial litigation associate, you will play a key role in the firm's busy disputes practice, working on all phases of business litigation from pleading through to trial and appeal. You will have the opportunity to take on significant responsibility over pending cases, gaining extensive in-court experience. This position offers excellent career development potential with support from leading disputes partners.


Responsibilities

  • Manage disclosure exercises for complex litigation matters
  • Draft statements of case and other key litigation documents
  • Conduct witness interviews and proofing
  • Carry out legal research and analysis to provide strategic advice
  • Assist with trial preparation including bundling and drafting skeleton arguments
  • Attend court hearings and trials as an important member of the team
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and other third parties


Requirements

  • Admitted to pratice in England and Wales without the need for sponsorship
  • 3-6 years PQE in commercial litigation
  • Strong academic background and excellent technical skills
  • Previous experience in commercial litigation, including trial experience
  • Accomplished legal researcher and writer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
