We are seeking a 4D BIM Coordinator to join our team on a Major Project at Devonport dockyard in Plymouth, Devon where we are refurbishing the Royal Navy dockyard. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on Digital Construction Technologies. Experienced in 3D, 4D modelling, working with planers and designers to bring the project to life. Capable of visualizing complex problems and articulating them on screen and off. Checking and validating models to and from the client/ designers.

Your mission
As 4D BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the digital construction tools/applications, and provide technical support to personnel as and when required.
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders and work closely with the senior project management team to ensure a value-added approach to digital is realized.
- Represent the company where necessary at internal and external meetings.
- Ensure that all modelling work is carried out in compliance with ISO 19650, BAM and CAD standards.
- Produce high end visualisations to aid decision making and facilitate onsite construction.
- Become the point of authority for all Synchro 4D pro Projects.
- Assist and train Digital Construction Technicians and Modellers whenever required.
- Understand the hardware and software requirements on the project and communicate with the BIM Lead and Project information Manager.
- Maintain high safety and environmental standards in accordance with company policies and report any inadequacies
Who are we looking for?
- Able to collaborate and work effectively within a multidiscipline and diverse team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have good understanding of civil/structural design and principles.
- Strong interest in 3D-4D design, modelling and creating immersive models.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D pro.
- Posses a high level of visualisation techniques (Framing, Colour, Contrast, Symmetry etc).
- Knowledge and use of model coding for planning purposes within the 3D and 4D model.
- Prior experience of, 3Ds Max and video editing software beneficial but not essential.
- Educational Background in Construction or related fields.
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650.
