Your key areas of responsibility will involve processing a wide range of accounting information including purchase ledger, bank, sales and maintaining the fixed asset register, amongst other broader responsibilities.
You will also play a role in collaborating with CDT’s multi-functional technical teams, working closely with the Finance and Purchasing teams to ensure all tasks are undertaken in a timely and accurate manner.
Ideally educated to A level standard, and with a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/5 or above, including Maths and English, you will also hold a professional accounting qualification, such as AAT, or have strong relevant experience, ideally gained in a hi-tech R&D organisation.
Demonstrable experience of double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles is essential for this role. You must have excellent IT skills, with advanced competency in MS Excel and effective application to accounting systems. Previous experience of SUN Systems would be desirable. You must be highly organised, with excellent prioritisation skills, strong attention to detail and a track record of working to challenging deadlines in a dynamic and changing environment.
