My client are looking for an Accounts Assistants to join their Finance team to support the company’s ongoing growth:



Responsibilities:



  • Input supplier bills and expenses to the accounting system for multiple entities in various currencies
  • Review/approve employee expenses and import into accounting system from the employee expense management system
  • Monitor payables to ensure timely payment and resolve supplier queries in a timely manner
  • Build excellent supplier relationships, ensuring any issues are resolved at the earliest opportunity
  • Aid in the preparation of payment runs for multiple entities in various currencies
  • Enter payment runs on the system
  • Assist with credit control process
  • Process customer invoices, credit notes and payments within the accounting system for multiple entities in various currencies
  • Resolve invoice queries and proactively ensure customers pay on time
  • Build excellent client relationships, ensuring any issues care resolved at the earliest opportunity
  • Assist with monitoring Accounts Receivable and follow up with invoices coming payable and those overdue for payment with relevant Accounts Payable departments
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations
  • As the role develops, preparation of Overhead journals (prepayments & accruals) and the associate balance Sheet release and reconciliations
  • Assist the collection of consultants’ time sheets in a timely manner
  • Maintain hard and soft filing system of financial records
  • General assistance to the finance team, including to reporting, audit and other ad hoc projects
