About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will be the key point of contact for our customers within the Trade and Export Team, growing accounts with existing firms and new business accounts across the Caribbean market. You will build effective relationships to retain, up-sell and identify new opportunities for revenue growth to reduce attrition and exceed targets.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with key decision makers in an assigned group of accounts.
• Identifying, developing and closing new sales opportunities.
• Creating demand for Lexis Nexis’s products by raising their profile with customers.
• Achieving and exceeding revenue targets and keeps relevant systems up to date.
• Working collaboratively with key stakeholders and share ideas with the wider team.

Requirements

• Have experience selling and negotiating in a target driven B2B environment
• Be hungry, driven and with a desire to exceed goals
• Demonstrate a customer focused mindset to build relationships and gain the trust of clients
• Have an enthusiastic approach to challenges and a resilience to setbacks
• Be a good listener, quick thinker, with the ability to work solo and as part of a team
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Be detail orientated with the ability to follow defined processes
• Have solid time management skills
