We have a new opportunity for an Account Manager to join the team in the UK supporting a large retail client. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing print, point of sale and branded merchandise projects. You will be required to stay in contact with suppliers and clients to take ownership of the relationship and develop it further. The Account Manager will also be required to negotiate costings and timescales for each job and select the most appropriate supplier, managing artwork and proofing, and recording jobs on our internal systems.
Role responsibilities
- Provide technical input and advice on print projects as required
- Take briefs from the client including full specification details and deadline dates and manage from start to finish
- Suggest alternative options and innovation where possible
- Brief suppliers on client requirements
- Maintain a full understanding of the broad range of HH Global’s services and work closely with the internal departments to provide the client with services to support them
- Work within a team and help to deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account administration and reporting
- Ability to attend meetings and factory visits away from the client site as required
- Work with Account Director to identify new business opportunities
- Ensure profit is maximised through analysis of performance
- Manage and monitor objectives to meet key business drivers
- Manage end to end process of jobs from concept to delivery
- Produce insight and wash up documents
What we need from you
- Previous experience working in print production/ print management/ print buying
- Ability to manage and communicate with key stakeholders, with previous onsite experience
- Account Management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs and KPIs
- Numerate with a strong commercial understanding
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- Professional, courteous and calm under pressure
- Process driven, with an eye to sales and business development
- Experienced in using Microsoft office
