What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction, product adoption, and long-term retention, acting as the primary internal advocate and managing expectations while aligning Thredd’s goals with client needs.
- Identify and pursue commercial opportunities by addressing client requirements promptly, assisting in contract renewals and negotiations, and driving revenue and margin growth through cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
- Lead strategic account development by organising and facilitating meetings to create Account Development Plans that align client goals with Thredd’s product and geographic roadmap, identifying opportunities for mutual growth.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to present performance metrics, analyse trends, and compare forecasted versus actual volumes, providing actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
- Promote client engagement in marketing and industry activities by encouraging participation in case studies, PR initiatives, and industry events, supporting Thredd’s brand and client visibility.
- Stay informed on the dynamic payments landscape through proactive research and share valuable insights with both clients and the Account Management team.
- Execute key operational processes including pipeline management, deal qualification, reporting, and maintaining accurate Salesforce records to ensure quality and operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Care, Credit Control, Implementations, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to resolve client issues, ensure a seamless onboarding and handover process, and keep client accounts current.
- Support continuous personal and team development by seeking learning opportunities for yourself and actively contributing to the growth and knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, adapting your style to suit different audiences and ensuring all parties are aligned and informed.
What You'll Need
- Experience as an account management within the payments sector
- A strong commercial focus, with the ability to identify and pursue revenue opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and information effectively to different audiences
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Experience engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, both internally and externally
- Skill in identifying growth opportunities and aligning solutions to client needs
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, solve problems, and manage tasks effectively
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability, with professionalism under pressure
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, accurate work
