About you:
You'll be responsible for achieving sales targets across annual software subscriptions, bureau processing, and consultancy services. With support from the presales and consultancy teams, you'll manage and own the full sales process developing strong customer relationships, responding to enquiries promptly, and sharing feedback to support team growth.
You'll host meetings at all levels, including C-suite, and nurture every opportunity to build long-term value. Once a sale is secured, you'll ensure a smooth and professional handover to the projects team. You may also be asked to organise reference calls or site visits for your own prospects or those of your colleagues. All activity will be carried out in line with company policies and procedures.
Day-to-day, you will:
• A motivated self-starter with a positive, resilient attitude and a drive to succeed
• Proven track record of delivering effective solutions within your target market
• Strong understanding of business processes and best practices
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Confident and persuasive when presenting ideas, both verbally and in writing
• High attention to detail, with strong written communication and documentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using technology to support daily tasks
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Highly credible and confident engaging at C-suite level, with experience managing large, complex customer engagements
• Proven field sales experience with success in managing multiple stakeholders and navigating complex deals
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to accurately forecast and structure complex, multiyear contracts
• Skilled in negotiating commercial agreements, including intricate terms and conditions
• Ideally experienced in HCM or related software sales
• Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative, while also contributing effectively as part of a small, collaborative team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload
• Clear, professional communicator across all channels-phone, email, and written-with strong attention to detail
• Builds positive, supportive relationships with colleagues and clients, acting with integrity, loyalty, and honesty
• Demonstrates a proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to self-development and continuous learning
• Willing and able to travel, including overnight stays when required
