We support financially distressed businesses with turnaround, restructuring and closure options, and we’re proud to have been appointed to more insolvency cases than any other firm in the UK. We have an exciting Apprenticeship opportunity available to work in our London Finchley office within our Corporate Restructuring and Recovery Team, with support being provided to achieve a professional accountancy qualification.
What will you do?
Over 5 or 6 years, you will study towards becoming a qualified accountant and during this time you will
- Gain practical experience and valuable skills whilst bringing your studies to life.
- Be part of a team supporting the day-to-day operations and functions, and get involved in interesting cases.
- Use your insights and skills to analyse financial information and prepare statutory reports and documents.
- Communicate with key stakeholders, such as Accountants and Solicitors, on formal insolvency matters.
- Gain knowledge and experience of dealing with limited companies in financial distress from a wide range of industries and sectors.
- Be predominantly based in our Leicester office with a supportive team around you, occasionally working out on-site and in other offices.

What we are looking for
- Desire to work in a professional services environment.
- Ability to communicate well with both colleagues and external parties.
- Natural curiosity and desire to solve problems.
- Confidence when undertaking new or unfamiliar tasks.
- Self-motivation and ability to combine study and work.
- 3 A-levels or equivalent at A* to C (obtained or predicted).
- 9 to 4 in Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent.
