We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly motivated
Finance Accountant to join our
London finance team.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions, playing a crucial role in the company’s financial operations.
About The Role
- Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Post and process invoices in accordance with company policies and financial controls.
- Manage company credit card transactions, including reconciliations and expense tracking.
- Month-end closing process - Take part in the company’s monthly reporting to HQ.
- Support the company’s payment process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Assist with statutory audits, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Contribute to local reporting requirements and financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and payment procedures.
- Familiarity with credit card transaction management and reconciliations.
- Experience working with ERP systems - NetSuite is an advantage.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data.
- Understanding local statutory requirements and reporting in the UK.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with a wider finance team.
- Strong sense of ownership.
- Experience supporting operations in Poland, Germany, and France is an advantage.
Preferred Credentials & Certifications
- AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification or equivalent.
- Newly qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
Prior experience in an
EMEA finance team is beneficial but not required.
