We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant Technician/Rebate Administrator to join our Finance Team at our Head Office based in Newry. The successful person will receive a competitive rate of pay plus fantastic benefits including: A comprehensive training programme Staff Discounts Cycle to work scheme Contributory Pension Scheme 30 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) On-site parking Hybrid working Key duties of an Accountant Technician / Rebate Administrator include: Administration and reconciliation of supplier and customer rebates, including management and updating of rebate documentation and reports Administration of other cost of sales and margin adjustments, including uplifts, multipliers and stock adjustments. Assist in the maintenance of rebate and other cost of sales/margin adjustment data, ensuring consistency and correctness and identifying and resolving discrepancies in records and transactions. Support the Company's budget process for rebates and other cost of sales/margin adjustments. Plus: if there is capacity: Administration of general ledger including reconciliation of ledger accounts. Administration and reconciliation of bank accounts. Assistance with maintenance of fixed asset register. Assistance with preparation of VAT returns and related reporting. The reconciliation and analysis of other balance sheet accounts as required. Assistance with other appropriate financial duties as required.
