Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm
Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in our Northampton office, 1 Queensbridge, Northampton NN4 7BF
Salary: £27,000 per annum
As an Accounting Assistant at Medigold Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-growing business. Working closely with the wider finance team, you’ll be responsible for reconciling group bank accounts, posting transactions, resolving cash-related queries, and supporting payment runs across the Medigold Group.
You’ll also contribute to financial reporting and analysis, assisting with monthly reconciliations and responding to both internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner. With a proactive approach and strong attention to detail, you’ll help ensure our financial data is accurate, up to date, and delivered to the highest standard.

Main Objectives
The Medigold Group has grown significantly in recent years and is looking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic individual to the role of Accounting Assistant to support the next stage of the Group’s journey.
Specific Responsibilities
- Complete the reconciliation of the various group bank accounts in a timely manner throughout the month and at month end. Responsible for posting bank receipts & payments, not directly related to Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable in a timely manner.
- Investigate and reply to cash related queries raised by the Finance or other departments, including monitoring the accounts assistants inbox.
- Post transactions on the Group’s accounting systems and complete ad-hoc reconciliations/ analysis as required.
- Deal effectively with queries from external and internal clients and resolve queries in a timely, professional manner, escalating issues where necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
- Support with the preparation of daily, monthly, annual and ad-hoc reporting for management, auditors and investors.
- Support the Accounts payable team leader and Finance Manager – Billing and Control with reporting and analysis.
- Preparation and processing of payment runs across the Group.
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities as required.
Requirements for this role
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.
- AAT part-qualified or industry experience in similar role previously.
- Dynamic, creative individual comfortable working with autonomy and responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to excel within a fast-paced creative and growing environment.
- Understand, engage with and demonstrate the Medigold Genetic Code.
- Knowledge of Sage 200.
