About this role

We’re on the lookout for an ambitious, outgoing, and proactive individual to join our finance team! Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to bring fresh ideas and energy to the everyday operations of our finance function. In this role, you’ll be continuously learning and developing your financial expertise, while contributing to the ongoing improvement of our processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing the daily reporting of sales, promotions, and cash flow
• Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Handling HMRC and ROS filings, VAT returns, and other important statutory submissions
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and posting depreciation
• Administering company credit card statements
• Raising monthly commercial invoices promptly and efficiently

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar finance role
• Strong numerical abilities and a solid working knowledge of Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Business Central / MS Dynamics is a plus)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• AAT qualification or in-progress CIMA / ACCA studies
• Experience with Power BI is preferred
