What do we need

Dotmatics is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role you will take responsibility for all accounts payable tasks for a designated area of the organisation, to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments whilst safeguarding accuracy in our financial records. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, with a strong willingness to collaborate with individuals across the organisation, including senior leadership.

This position is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract based in Bishops Stortford, UK.

In this role you will get to:

• Monitor and manage email boxes for designated areas of organisations Accounts Payable, and legacy accounting box
• Validate and collect vendor bank information and W9s when required
• Verify purchase order (PO) information and related documentation
• Enter and update vendor information and invoices in NetSuite
• Ensure proper coding of accounts payable (AP) invoices in NetSuite
• Match, enter and monitor PO’s and AP invoices including reviews and approvals
• Assist in tracking and obtaining T&E (Travel and Entertainment) expense documentation
• Conduct research and compile information as requested
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and generate reports as needed

We are looking for part or newly AAT qualified candidates who have 1+ years demonstrable experience of Accounts Payable within a busy accounts department. You will be self-motivated, ambitious and highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.

The key skills we are looking for

• Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Excel
• Practical experience of using an ERP system, Oracle NetSuite is preferred
• Experience with multicurrency transactions
• An ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
• The ability to communicate concisely at all levels of business
• Bias to action; be a team player and step in during busy periods
• Desire to work on a hybrid basis with regular days in the office at Bishops Stortford
