Accounts Lead - Right Medicine Pharmacy

Right Medicine Pharmacy, a leading pharmacy group with 43 locations across Scotland, is looking for an
experienced and detail-driven Accounts Lead to join our dynamic support office team in Throsk, Stirling.
As part of a growing and forward-thinking pharmacy business, this is a fantastic opportunity to take a central role in the financial operations of a company that’s passionate about delivering exceptional service to patients and communities.
About The Role
You’ll take the lead on a variety of core accounting tasks across multiple companies within our group structure. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires great attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting our wider accounts team.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks:
- Download and upload transactions from multiple bank accounts into Xero
- Monitor and manage various savings accounts
- Update and manage cashflows for 4 group companies
- Complete bank reconciliations for multiple business and savings accounts
Weekly Tasks
- Process locum payments and staff expenses
- Credit card reconciliation
- Handle petty cash payments and deposits
Monthly Tasks
- Prepare and issue sales invoices (credit customers & property rentals)
- Track employee accommodation usage
- Reconcile tills and donation books
- Post stock transfer and staff recharge journals
- Manage monthly rebate invoicing
Ad-hoc Duties
- Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and statements
- Manage direct debit payments
- Answer emails and support general finance queries
What You’ll Bring
- Solid experience in a similar finance or accounts role
- Proficiency with Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong Excel skills
- A proactive and organised mindset
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different businesses
