Acoustics site technician

We’re seeking a motivated individual to conduct acoustic measurements, testing, and surveys at client sites across the UK, as well as air tightness testing. Full training is provided - prior experience is not essential, but would be an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct UKAS-accredited sound insulation testing and ATTMA-certified air tightness testing

• Perform noise and vibration surveys, and data processing

• Liaise with clients and coordinate with stakeholders

• Project planning, scheduling, quotations and writing reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Audio engineering, other STEM subject or related field, OR hands-on experience

• Valid UK driving license (essential)

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Attention to detail and clear report writing abilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Regular UK-wide travel (van provided) with occasional overnight stays

• 37.5 hrs / wk, flexible hours including some evenings & occasional weekends

• Work from home option when convenient

• No paid overtime; TOIL system for unsociable hours.

PAY and HOLIDAYS:

Salary £ 25,000 - 28,000 + 8 % pension contribution. 25 days + bank holidays annual leave
