Admin Assistant – Apprentice & Graduate Support
Are you passionate about people, highly organised, and ready to play a key role in shaping early careers? We’re looking for an Admin Assistant to support our Apprentice and Graduate Programme — a brilliant opportunity to help develop the next generation of craftsperson’s and engineers in a role where people and purpose come first. This role is based in our site at Eakring, Nottinghamshire (NG22 0DA). Minimum 2 days in-office (5 days during inductions or assessments).
You’ll support 180 apprentices and graduates throughout their journey — from onboarding and inductions to assessments and ongoing development. You’ll be a visible and valued point of contact, working with individuals from diverse backgrounds aged 16 to 45, helping them succeed and thrive in their careers.
This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires strong coordination, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. You’ll help organise induction events, support assessment centres (including liaising with assessors and managing logistics), and maintain key records and dashboards for reporting using tools like Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI. Alongside data management, you'll also respond to stakeholder queries, create presentations, track performance, and handle day-to-day logistics like ordering PPE and phones. Pastoral care is a key part of the role too — making sure everyone on the programme feels supported and set up for success.
Requirements:
- Experience in an administrative or coordination role.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Power BI.
- Confident, friendly communication with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A flexible, can-do approach and genuine passion for supporting others

Pay and Benefits
- A competitive salary of £36,343 to £40,618 pa
- 37 Hours Monday to Friday
- 26 days holiday plus 8 statutory days.
