The opportunity
A vacancy has arisen at our Lincoln office for an enthusiastic and eager individual to commence and progress their career in an office environment. The successful candidate will spend time around the business supporting our Team PAs who service different departments and individuals. We envisage the role to be aligned to the Apprenticeship Standard in Level 3 Business Administration or similar. The role is 37.5 hours per week, with time given to complete the requirements of their Apprenticeship.

general responsibilities
- Supporting our established team of Team PAs in all tasks including but not limited to secretarial duties, client onboarding processes, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, upkeep and ongoing cleansing of our databases
- In turn you will be supporting our professionals in a variety of tasks which helps them provide a timely and accurate service to clients, contacts and colleagues
- There will be some cover for lunchtimes and absence of our reception team where you will be the first point of contact to clients and visitors. Handling calls with efficiency and precision and welcoming visitors with warmth and a smile.
- Other reception-based duties such as post, making drinks, ensuring client areas and meeting rooms are kept presentable, etc
skills and qualities
- GCSE Grade 4 (C) minimum or equivalent In English Language and Maths
- Commenced or to commence an Apprenticeship in Level 3 Business Administrator and committed to achieve
- Well presented
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; with experience in Microsoft Excel
desirable skills
- Whilst some relevant previous experience in an office environment – inc reception, administrative and secretarial duties would be an advantage, it is not essential as full training will be given.
