ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Salary: £31,575.05 per annum
Working Hours: Fixed Term Contract (12 months), Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8am to 4:30pm
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting an Administrative Assistant, full time to cover on a fixed term basis for twelve months in Bridgwater, Somerset.
This role primarily focuses on delivering comprehensive administrative support to G4S's Management and Operational teams. It also involves directly assisting contract staff by managing their payroll and personnel queries.
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain central office systems, ensuring that records are accurate and consistent with relevant company procedures.
- Maintain and deliver various staff related procedures in accordance with G4S FM HR processes and procedures, including but not limited to:
- Payroll and Pensions.
- Sickness/Absence recording, tracking and reporting.
- Weekly and monthly reconciliation of Kronos timecards.
- Holiday & TOIL recording, tracking and reporting.
- Creating and updating personnel files.
- Assisting with the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Supporting with Inductions for new starters, including preparation of staff handbook and new starter documentation.
- Issuing offer letters and Terms and Conditions of Employment.
- To provide statistical information to the SMT in preparation of the monthly trading report.
- To attend and support meetings providing minute taking services.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Criteria:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace
- Commitment to confidentiality
- Possesses excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach
- Conscientious and reliable, ensuring accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of Kronos, Workforce and WIMS.
- Payroll software experience an advantage.
- Basic understanding of HR processes.
