Location: Arriva UK Head Office, Doxford International Business Park, Sunderland
Contract Type: Fixed Term (3-6 months)
Hours: 21 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £14,545 per annum (Pro Rata)

Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated
Administrative Assistant to support our in-house legal team,
Transcare Law, on a
part-time, fixed-term basis. This role provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced legal environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our legal function. Please note, this role requires the successful candidate to be
on-site throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Process and track legal and administrative invoices in line with Arriva’s policies.
- Debt Payment Administration: Support the administration of debt payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Document Management: Assist with photocopying, filing, and preparing Court Bundles electronically.
- Trial Preparation: Maintain trial lists and ensure all relevant documentation is up-to-date and organised.
- Correspondence Handling: Draft and send nomination letters and other legal correspondence as required.
- General Legal Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Precise with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience or interest in the legal field is beneficial, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable
- Legal support experience.
- Knowledge of invoice processing and court procedures is a plus.
