Job Description
This company is an industry-leading civil engineering business, providing complex and innovative engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors including maritime, flood risk management, defence, energy, water and regeneration.
We are currently looking for a office Administrator to join our team as part of civils and infrastructure division
Main responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for all administrative matters on site.
- Maintain accurate records including timesheets, delivery notes, permits, site diaries and day-to-day admin duties.
- Assists with Coordinating site inductions, training records, and health and safety documentation with the H&S department.
- Manage and file site paperwork and correspondence, both electronic and hard copies.
- Assist with site procurement of materials and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with scheduling and meeting arrangements.
- Handle office supplies, stationery, and ensure the site office is well maintained.
- Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and site updates as needed..
- Liaise with the Project administrator, clients, and contractors regarding project administration
What You Bring To The Role
- Previous experience in a construction or office-based administrative role (preferred).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Understanding of construction terminology and documentation is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- CSCS card (preferred or required depending on site access policy).
- Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
