Shaftesbury Millie College is a 16 to 25yrs education setting helping young people with a range of learning and physical disabilities in Dorset and the local area, bridging the gap between education and employment.

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organized Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the welcoming face of Millie College and will provide essential clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of college operations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail oriented, and committed to maintaining a positive and productive environment.

Purpose of the job
- To be able to work collaboratively and flexibly as a member of Millie College
- To work on reception
- To provide clerical and administrative support to professionals across Millie College, ensuring the smooth-running of the provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Make appointments and arrange meetings as directed. Including scheduling meetings/reviews with students/parents/other staff/professionals at regular times throughout the year.
- Produce, collate and distribute reports, letters and other documents.
- Minute taking
- Proof reading
- To support the administrative work in the consultations/admissions process.
- Responsible for keeping information in order for auditing purposes in line with Millie, Ofsted and CQC requirements
- Meet, greet and direct visitors
- Operate college diary and inform staff of visitors and guests.
- To be responsible for and able to evidence own personal development by undertaking relevant training, attending meetings, conferences and events ensuring that you are updated in all matters relevant to the role within your Personal Development Plan agreed with your manager
- To carry out additional duties and tasks that may be required within the range of the responsibilities of the post.
