Admissions Coordinator

Location: Hybrid/London

Type of Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Main duties and responsibilities


Student & Agent Engagement


  • Respond to prospective student and agent enquiries, providing guidance on programs, entry requirements, and admissions procedures.
  • Support students throughout the admissions journey, ensuring clear communication at every stage for enrolment onto Oxford International programmes.
  • Advise on application deadlines, document submissions, and next steps, keeping students and agents well-informed.
  • Assisting with Higher Education and University applications on behalf of our students, facilitating smooth processes with partners and providing guidance and support throughout the student journey.


Admissions Administration & Record-Keeping


  • Organize and input applicant data into internal databases, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Track application progress and ensure all required materials are received and properly logged.
  • Assist in refining administrative processes and ensuring compliance with institutional standards.


Internal Collaboration & Communication


  • Liaise with the Academic Team to verify student entry requirements and ensure qualifications meet program standards.
  • Work closely with the Programme Team to distribute accurate, current information to applicants and students.
  • Coordinate with the OIDI and OIPC centres to support student enquiries and act as a communication link between students, agents, and support staff.


Operational & Event Support


  • Support the Admissions Manager in planning and coordinating key events, recruitment periods, and onboarding timelines.
  • Participate in student outreach initiatives, open days, and other key dates throughout the admissions calendar.

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Satisfactory Enhanced DBS Disclosure


Knowledge, qualifications, and experience


  • Understanding of education sector and pathways courses.
  • Knowledge of qualifications and experience of application processes.
  • Experience of student management and communications.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of online safeguarding (Desirable)


Skills & Abilities


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM or database systems is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize and prioritise a varied workload
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure.
  • An excellent eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Experience of delivering presentations confidently and effectively (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of higher education systems and international student pathways is advantageous (Desirable)
