We are looking for an Agent to join our Infrastructure team on the A47 in Norwich.
What you'll do:
- Input into your direct report’s annual goals and check in on the development of these regularly.
- Manage, supervise, train and mentor the site team to enable them to perform their duties effectively.
- Communicate effectively with other engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers, and client representatives.
- Coordinate supply chain partners to contribute to design solutions at the appropriate time to deliver a right first time design solution that can be constructed with “no in-flight change”
- Ensure construction issues are raised promptly through the delivery team, with an appropriate level of escalation to determine a suitable resolution.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of temporary works processes, design and management.
- Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts (through experience and formal training). Ideally ECC NEC4.
