About Baringa
We set out to build the world’s most trusted consulting firm – creating lasting impact for clients and pioneering a positive, people-first way of working. We work with everyone from FTSE 100 names to bright new start-ups, in every sector.
You’ll find us collaborating shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients, from the big picture right down to the detail: helping them define their strategy, deliver complex change, spot the right commercial opportunities, manage risk, or bring their purpose and sustainability goals to life. Our clients love how we get to know what makes their organisations tick – slotting seamlessly into their teams and being proudly geeky about solving their challenges.
We have hubs in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia, and we work all around the world - from a wind farm in Wyoming to a boardroom in Berlin. Find us wherever there's a challenge to be tackled and an impact to be made.
Our Technology and Cyber team are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join them.
Baringa has grown so fast, and it continues to grow rapidly. Those new joiners keep on coming! We’re a global function supporting the firm as it enters new markets. We’re re-architecting and evolving our cloud-based business systems and infrastructure. We’re on a mission to develop great technology products and deliver great services. We’ve installed a new operating system for ourselves, and rebooted what was a corporate IT department to a corporate technology company - transforming the way we work. We’re working on sustainability. We’re keeping our firm safe: protecting our data and our reputation. Yes, we’ve got a big job in the Baringa Technology & Cyber team.
So much to build on, so much to progress. So much to deliver. So much to play for!
Do you know what though? We’re going to do it. All of it and more. We have the support to drive change. We have a diverse group of 70 amazing technology & cyber professionals. We have the belief. We are going to do great things.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Agile Project Manager, you will be working with Baringa’s Technology and Cyber teams, as well as key stakeholders across the business, to ensure the requirements of the technology project roadmap are delivered to a high-quality standard. Working with our Project Management Lead, you will be involved with:
- The successful delivery of one or more technology projects in line with our Plan, Build, Run and Cyber processes.
- Create strong project plans and supporting documentation, ensuring these are used to support management of the project and to drive timely escalation – linking in with the Agile backlog, resourcing demands and the work distribution across projects and teams.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure your projects encompass planning for any required business change as well as any technical development, ensuring a fully rounded project delivery.
- Ensuring scope is clearly defined at an appropriate level for Agile delivery, approved at initiation and managed and controlled throughout delivery.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions and work to communicate, manage, escalate, and mitigate them successfully throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure clear roles and responsibilities are set at project initiation across the extended project delivery and stakeholder team, ensuring people understand their responsibilities and commitments associated with these.
- Deploy appropriate governance models to the size of the project – ensuring governance is not over-engineered but maintaining appropriate control.
- Ensure that all projects, as part of initiation, engage with the relevant specialist areas such as legal, procurement and Cyber to assure delivery.
- Ensure Scope, Cost and Time changes are managed within tolerance and change control is used to agree those changes beyond tolerance, with robust planning and project management allowing early identification of potential changes.
- Provide regular reporting to line manager, governance forums and project teams.
Your Skills And Experience
- A technology focused professional.

Benefits
Baringa is a People First company and wellbeing is at the forefront of our culture. We recognise the importance of work-life balance and flexible working and provide our staff amazing benefits. Some of these benefits include:
- Generous Annual Leave Policy: We recognise everyone needs a well-deserved break. We provide our employees with 5 weeks of annual leave, fully available at the start of each year. In addition to this, we have introduced our 5-Year Recharge benefit which allows all employees an additional 2 weeks of paid leave after 5 years continuous service.
- Flexible Working: We know that the ‘ideal’ work-life balance will vary from person to person and change at different stages of our working lives. To accommodate this, we have implemented a hybrid working policy and introduced more flexibility around taking unpaid leave.
- Corporate Responsibility Days: Our world is important to us, so all our employees get 3 every year to help social and environmental causes and increase our impact on the communities that mean the most to us.
- Wellbeing Fund: We want to encourage all employees to take charge and prioritise their own wellbeing. We’ve introduced our annual People Fund to support this by offering every individual a fund to support and manage their wellbeing through an activity of their choice.
- Profit Share Scheme: All employees participate in the Baringa Group Profit Share Scheme so everyone has a stake in the company’s success.
