This post has been designed to support the LGT AHP strategic workforce plan continuing the work started from initial AHP Workforce supply programme. The successful candidate will provide dedicated insight in to the challenges faced by the AHP professions and contribute to the current and future AHP workforce supply strategy planning.
We are looking for an experienced individual who can work independently and will provide the additional capacity to work across all the AHP professions employed in the Trust. Networking across the sector and keeping abreast of national developments will ensure LGT AHPs maximise their potential. You will work alongside the Divisional Director of Professions and Governance and the Trust workforce development team .

The Allied Health Professions (AHP) Education and Workforce Lead will be responsible for supporting the Divisional Director of Professions & Governance (DDPG) in leading the strategic development and implementation of the Trust’s AHP workforce agenda. Working across the system, the post holder will work closely with existing internal structures including clinical groups, Training and Development department, AHP and AHP networks, and external organisations and the South East London AHP Faculty and in partnership with our education/academic partner HEI’s.
