Orion Building Engineering Services Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to add to our expanding team of experienced AC Engineers covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, North London and surrounding areas.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible forcarrying out maintenance/ service including fault finding/diagnosis and repairs on equipment including VRF's, split type air conditioning and refrigeration plant.

Duties

• Conduct routine planned maintenance and service requirements working under own initiative to locate and diagnose faults and concerns.
• Demonstrate familiarity with F-Gas requirements
• Test AC installations, in line with the current F-Gas requirements and record the results of such tests on electronic system.
• Install AC systems compliant with F Gas regulations, including heating and cooling systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service and answer any client questions or relay these questions back to the office
• Repair and / or replace faculty AC installations, such as leaks, controls etc and assess parts needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience as an AC Engineer At least 3 years in a relevant AC role, post qualification.
• A completed F-Gas qualification to C&G 2079 (Essential)
• NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Essential as a minimum)
• NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration ( Desirable)
• Conversant with Current F -Gas Regulations (Essential)
• Good level of computer skills, ability to use PDA/Compliance system for reporting.
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Good presentation, planning, and organisational skill, self motivated and able to work under their own initiative.
• Clean UK Driving License.
• Clean DBS Record
