The roleWe are seeking an Airfield Project Asset Engineer to help ensure the technical excellence, safety, and long-term performance of our airfield engineering systems. This critical role supports the planning, delivery, and optimisation of capital projects and ongoing maintenance across the airfield environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3, ONC, or HNC in Electrical Engineering.
Be recognised as a Subject Matter Expert in Airfield Engineering assets.
Have full, assessed knowledge of STAL Electrical Safety Rules (ESRs) up to Approved Person (Electrical) level.
Have completed the Performance Improvement Skills module.
Meet the requirements of the relevant competence assessment process.
Demonstrate strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, schedule, and manage your own work and/or that of a team to deliver high performance.
Actively apply learning and continuously seek ways to improve processes and outcomes.
Show drive and decisiveness, with a focus on achieving results and maintaining high standards despite challenges.
Be proficient in Maximo, with a working knowledge of scheduling, resource planning, and competency tracking.
Demonstrate capability through formal training, apprenticeship, or practical experience to carry out the required tasks effectively in an airport environment.
Maintain professional standards at all times, including appearance, in line with MAG uniform policy.
