Main duties of the job
You will be able to build on your previous experiences by providing specialist support to our clients undergoing detoxification and rehabilitation.
You will be able to facilitate group sessions where clients will be supported by you in learning a range of coping skills.
You will be a key worker to clients undergoing rehabilitation, supporting them in to meet their chosen outcomes, including around their recovery goals and their emotional wellbeing.
You will use your well-developed communication skills to create and sustain relationships with clients that inspire them in their recovery journeys.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensuring that clients receive a level of care, support and encouragement appropriate to their needs and wishes and in accordance with the values and beliefs of St. Anne’s Community Services and its Code of Practice.
Following a person-centred planning approach, with relevant consultation and client involvement.
Making a commitment to the process of involving clients in all aspects of the organisation.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support clients through a residential alcohol detoxification programme.
Facilitating group sessions. These include, but not limited to, community meetings, alcohol and health awareness, relapse prevention, anxiety management, music therapy, relaxation, and assertive communication.
Act as a key worker to clients in the rehabilitation programme, which will include completing risk assessments and recovery support plans.
The role does involve shift work, including sleep-in shifts, weekends, and Bank Holidays.

Essential criteria
- Ability to work with the client group in a residential setting, including group and one-to-one work
- Ability to provide an appropriate level of care and support to clients
- Level of verbal and written communication skills sufficient to establish good working relationships and maintain accurate records
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of relapse prevention and motivational interventions
