This is an exciting new role working across Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals Group which includes United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (ULTH) and Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS).
In this role you will work at a strategic level to support the delivery of key Allied Health Professions (AHP) workforce priorities in line with the Long Term Workforce Plan, supporting the current and future AHP workforce including apprenticeships, return to practice, international recruitment, preceptorship and the ongoing implementation of the support worker framework. You will develop and maintain a Group AHP workforce plan supported by the Trust Lead Allied Health Professional (AHP) ULTH and the Chief AHP, LCHS and in collaboration with profession specific AHP leads. You will develop a clear understanding of AHP workforce issues across Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals Group (LCHG) and work in collaboration to develop interprofessional solutions.

We are looking for a registered Allied Health Professional with substantial experience in the NHS, strong management and leadership skills with a proven track record in motivating staff and evidence of delivering sustainable change management and service improvement projects.
This role will support across all Allied Health Professions employed within Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals Group (LCHG) and will ensure the unique skills and contribution of each profession and the needs of the workforce are central.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
