Encompass Geospatial provides precise and detailed mapping, surveying and geospatial data services to help clients plan, build and manage land and infrastructure projects. We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Administration Assistant to complement our team. This is a full-time role (36 hours per week), which will include time away from work studying to gain professional knowledge and skills as part of the South Hampshire College Group’s Business Administrator (Level 3) Apprenticeship programme. 

What will you do at work? 

• Deal with incoming enquiries via telephone and email  
• Administer client enquiries in a timely and professional manner 
• Administer new instructions from clients promptly and efficiently 
• Update spreadsheets and data entry 
• Liaise with and provide general administrative assistance to support a busy team of surveyors 

About you? 

• Maths and English GCSE (Level 4 or above - achieved or predicted) 
• Great organisational skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong communication skills 
• Knowledge of Office 365 
• A proactive nature 
• A good team player who would thrive in a supportive work environment 
• Strong desire to learn and progress
