Do you want to work for a Trust that is transforming educational outcomes for students in some of the most deprived areas in the North of England? If so, this could be the role for you.

Your new role

As an apprentice you are encouraged to work as part of the team to gain as much practical experience as possible throughout the duration of your course. During your apprenticeship you will report to the teachers.

Under supervision you will work under the direct instruction of teacher/support staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

You will study towards the NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant. There is an expectation you will attend all college sessions and complete assignments on time.

We want to attract the best apprentices to work in Delta Academies Trust, as such we pay above the national apprenticeship pay rates for all apprentices. You don’t have to wait for a year to be paid your age related National Minimum Wage, we pay this from your first day with us, but we will not pay below £9.00 per hour.

Please see the attached job description on our website for the essential criteria and more information about the role.

If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience required for this position, then we would very much like to hear from you.

Your new school

The academy is a 3 to 16 all through school situated in a small village with a real community feel. We feel passionate about providing our young people with the best experiences, the best outcomes and the best opportunities. We place our learners’ individual needs at the heart of what we do and pride ourselves in our adaptability and willingness to engage fully with our students, their parents and the communities they live in.

You will be joining an ambitious, committed and hardworking team who are relentless in their drive to make a genuine difference to and lasting impact on our young people, staff, families and the wider community. We value kindness and seek to create an academy where staff feel supported and students feel safe.
