We're looking for an
Area Operations Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team on the Anglian Water Alliance
Location: Can be based throughout Norwich/ Ipswich/ Kings Lynn- with travel to these areas regularly along with office/ home working
Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
The Integrated Maintenance, Repair & Developer Services (IMRDS) is the team that maintains Anglian Water's water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service our customers including supplying new water connections and water mains to new developments.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Area Operations Manager, you will lead the charge in delivering high-performance operational programmes while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Your Day To Day Will Include
- Oversee all aspects of the reactive works programme, ensuring on-time, safe and budget compliant delivery while driving performance improvements
- Champion a positive health & safety culture, targeting zero harm. Ensure compliance with HSE, CDM and environment regulations
- Inspire and manage your team, driving leadership behaviour, performance management, and continuous professional development
- Build and maintain strong relationshops with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution
- Lead the adoption of industry leading solutions and innovative practices to drive operational efficiencies
What are we looking for?
This role of Area Operations Manager is great for you if you hold:
- Experience of leadership and management within an operational environment in utilities or a similar field
- A track record of driving performance, ensuring safety compliance and delivering projects on time and within budget
- Experience with health & safety protocols, environmental standards, and CDM regulations
- Ability to lead a team through change, fostering collaboration and efficiency
- Full driving licence
