EDP, part of
RSK Group, is seeking an experienced
Asbestos Consultant to join our successful and expanding national asbestos team on a
permanent, full time basis. This is a
hybrid role based within the
South-East region and will require
travel to clients.
EDP is an international health, safety and environmental consultancy founded over 25 years ago with offices throughout the UK and with international operations in Australia, Singapore, and Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking building surveys and bulk sampling
- Carrying out asbestos air monitoring including the issuing of Certificate of Re-occupation and Statement of Cleanliness
- Advise clients on legal requirements, regulations, and industry standards related to asbestos management
- Preparing accurate reports and plans of your work in standard formats
- Maintaining and building on good relationship with clients
- Timely completion of monthly quality requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 Months related work within UKAS accredited organisation
- P402, P403, P404 modules or equivalent
- Competent and confident user of MS office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to multi-task
- Full UK drivers licence
Salary And Benefits
- Full time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week plus paid overtime (when required)
- Salary up to £38,000 + Car Allowance
- Annual leave allowance of 33 days including public holidays
