About The Role
As an Assistant Accountant you will be joining an experienced and welcoming team based within the Swindon office. Reporting to the Finance Manager responsible for Statutory Reporting and Treasury, the Assistant Accountant will support the delivery of a range of products and the associated financials.
From reconciling and analysing large volumes of data and producing reports for the business to investigate any anomalies and variances; you’ll assist with all monthly tasks and journals so they are prepared accurately and posted within strict deadlines.
Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Support with month end closing accounting processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Processing recharges onward to BNP Paribas
- Manage and prioritise your own workload and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Support with financial data to comply with company standards
What We’re Looking For
You will have experience working in a Finance team within a large organisation have a finance qualifications or be part qualified. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be able to work under pressure as well as be a proactive team player.
You will be a competent Microsoft Excel user; able to confidently use Pivot Tables, and Vlookup's, using it in your day-to-day work.
You’ll Also Be Able To Demonstrate
- That you can use your initiative and be able to proactively fix or solve problems
- Have attention detail to make sure all data is accurate
- Accounting knowledge
- Finance Experience
The package
We offer a basic starting salary of
starting at £28,000, plus a bonus of up to
£1,100. We also offer
25 days holiday as standard
