Salary: Starting Salary is £14,112.37 (Level one) rising to £14,331.77 (Level two) and £14,562.40 (Level three)
(FTE £24,790 - £25,584 per annum pro rata for part-time)

About The Role
As an Assistant Chef you will work alongside the Chef Supervisor to assist with the preparation and serving of school meals. The successful applicant will also be responsible at times for the day to day running of the school kitchen in the absence of the Catering Supervisor.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in food preparation including vegetables and sauces
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations and their application in the kitchen
- Knowledge of good customer care practice and experience of working in a customer focused environment
This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
