Role description

Focus on data gathering, initial analysis, and providing support for day-to-day tasks. The support analyst assists the Lead Commercial Analyst in executing strategies, maintaining data quality, and delivering timely reports .

Your main challenges

• Data Gathering & Preparation:
• Collect, clean, and prepare data from various sources (sales, customer, market data) for analysis.
• Assist in the automation of data pipelines and maintain up-to-date datasets for pricing models and reports.
  
• Basic Pricing Analysis:
• Conduct preliminary pricing analysis to support the development of pricing strategies (e.g., competitive pricing analysis, basic elasticity analysis).
• Support in building and updating pricing models based on the lead analyst’s guidance.
  
• Reporting & Dashboard Maintenance:
• Develop and maintain routine pricing and sales performance reports.
• Update dashboards and create visualizations to track key metrics such as price changes, margin impacts, and sales trends.
  
• Data Quality Assurance:
• Perform data validation and identify discrepancies or outliers in the data.
• Implement routine data checks to ensure data accuracy for pricing models and analysis.
  
• Ad-Hoc Analysis & Support:
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support for urgent requests or business queries.
• Support the lead analyst in conducting deep-dive analyses into specific pricing or sales issues as needed.
  
• Documentation & Process Improvement:
• Document processes, methodologies, and assumptions used in pricing and data models.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and reporting workflows.

• Familiarity with data manipulation tools like Excel, SQL, and potentially entry-level experience with R or Python.
