We are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join our growing Farnborough audit department and manage a client portfolio. You will be joining an established friendly team and can expect full support and excellent career development opportunities. We are open to a qualified Senior looking for a step up or an established Audit Assistant Manager.

What’s The Role About
📊 Manage an audit-focused portfolio of clients.
📋 Oversee the preparation of financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS.
🤝 Attend and contribute to client meetings.
⏳ Complete audits with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
🌱 Lead the development and mentorship of emerging audit talent.
💼 Take charge of financial management for your portfolio, including WIP, billing, and debt control.
🌐 Engage in business development, maintaining key contacts and fostering new client relationships.
📚 Keep up-to-date with technical knowledge and independently research to develop innovative solutions.
What We’re Looking For
You are an ACA/ACCA qualified professional with at least four years’ experience in accountancy practice, possessing a strong technical understanding of accounting and auditing standards, including leading group audits and preparing consolidated accounts. With excellent communication skills, you excel at building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. You produce high-quality work, anticipate and resolve problems early to keep assignments on budget, and effectively prioritize a high volume of tasks. Experience with CaseWare or Mercia methodologies is desirable. You proactively identify growth opportunities within the client base, collaborate across service lines, and take an active role in team development. This role is based in Leatherhead and involves working at the office and client premises in the surrounding areas.
